Some of the absolute best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life hands down. Their deli sandwich’s are TOP TIER. I’ve had plenty of sandwich’s in New York and nothing compares! Please do your self a favor and enjoy a meal here. The customer service is tremendous and super quick to serve your food! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would 10/10 👍🏼

As soon as I walked it I was greeted and when I asked questions about the menu they were answered. I have been here twice. Once Togo and to dine in. Both times my food was freshly prepared and so delicious. I will be visiting often. Healthy, good portions and nice atmosphere. Love this place

The owner – Adolfo was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The menu had a fantastic selection of dishes, and he offered excellent recommendations. I loved what I tried. Truly great service I wish the restaurant would open at the weekend so I could take my family to here for brunch 👍

From the shopping center it looks like another deli, but inside it clean, well organized and has all you need for a lunch spot. They have salads, soups, sandwiches, and pasta. Plus homemade baked goods. On the walls they have mounted articles from local newspapers, even a recognition from the City of Houston. The owner was very personable and he explained that it was their 40th anniversary this year, they also cater lunches. He explained that he’s from New Orleans and recommended the muffuletta for us to try. I decided on that plus the soup of the day, lentil soup. It came out within 7 minutes, soup piping hot and sandwich freshly made. The sesame seed bread was nicely toasted, the cheese was melty, and it was stuffed full of olive tapenade, salami and ham. The soup was loaded with veggies, lentils and a good broth. I would love to return again to try other items on their menu, it’s great finding local places to support the community.

This place is simple with great food, fast service and hospitable staff. What else could you ask for. Their food taste amazing and they have great healthy options.

I have made multiple large orders for my company from Fresh and Savory multiple times. I have had them delivered and yesterday, I had the opportunity to pick up. I was treated like I was a welcome visitor in someone’s home. The manager and staff have went over and beyond each time. Each of my orders were completely correct, the service was friendly and prompt, all ingredients used were fresh and the food was great. I was addressed by name and that made my time there personable. If you haven’t tried them yet, please do yourself a favor and do. You cannot have a better experience anywhere else.

First time for me today. Extremely friendly service and my food was so good. I was expecting just another pesto pasta but this was different. Extremely flavorful and fresh. The seafood was perfectly cooked as well. I am definitely coming back!

If you want a NyC 🗽 Reuben sandwich in Texas this is the place the owner is hands on and seems to love to serve . Will definitely come back.

I mentioned it was my first time there and he was so helpful and his energy just lights up his face and it made me smile. He’s the kind of guy that goes out of his way to lift people up.

If you’re not swayed by the customer service and you’re just about the food then good news. It’s not only really affordable but everything is fresh and quality and prepared with care. These ingredients aren’t dumped out of a can or frostbitten from the freezer. You can taste the freshness.

The bread is flaky and chewy but not tough. The grilled chicken in my sandwich was flavorful and juicy. The chicken salad had big chunks of chicken that gave it a heartiness and satisfying texture but it was creamy and seasoned with the slight crunch that makes chicken salad special. Eating it with big bites of avocado and crispy and bright romaine lettuce gave me that filled but not full feeling that I’m always wanting for my mid-day meal. Not weighed down, just sustained.

I had the fruit bowl for “dessert” even though they make a ton of sweet treats from scratch in house. I was very tempted by the cheesecakes and the cookies and the lemon bars but the fruit bowl on display looked so inviting. He was careful to make sure the pineapple was excluded because I’m allergic, and asked me what types of fruits I wanted extra of since I wasn’t having the pineapple which is such a thoughtful question.

When I tell you, I have never in my life had better melon, I am being so sincere. I am 32 years old, and I have NEVER had better melon. I love fruit but I had really just accepted that I’m not big on cantaloupe and honeydew. I really enjoy the flavor but 99 times out of 100, it’s been too hard and not ripe enough, not juicy enough, not flavorful or sweet enough. Usually it reminds me of cucumbers. But even less soft.

But the melon in this fruit bowl… 🥴🙌🏼 soft and sweet and full of flavor. Not overly ripe. Not mushy. Just perfect. And not only that, but this fruit bowl was just a single serving of fruit. Maybe about 1.5 to 2 cups of fruit if you dumped it into measuring cups. But still they made sure it had so much variety and quality. It had strawberries, kiwis, cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, green grapes, and purple grapes. And usually it would also have pineapple! I mean, come on! Most fruit bowls I’ve gotten even from “fancier” or pricier establishments have had maybe 4 or 5 varieties of fruit at most. It’s just like… These folks consistently go out of their way to do extra stuff for their customers that they could totally get away with not doing and no one would have room to complain but instead of doing the least they can get away with, they do the most. That’s the culture of this business.

Do yourself a favor. Build these people up. Support this local business full of people who are providing a special service, making special food, and being kind and friendly while they do it. The food is fresh, Delicious, healthy, and affordable. Read the reviews. Houston loves this restaurant 🙂

If you need certain dietary accommodations for whatever reason, this is a restaurant that will take it seriously and do what they can with transparency. Parking: Normal parking with plenty of spots. Kid-friendliness: It’s not kid UNfriendly, but the indoor dining isn’t huuuuuge so if you do bring rambunctious or noisy children, they will be very out of place and likely very disruptive in general to the vibe and the patrons but it’s a casual lobby with roughly 8 tables and it’s pretty quiet. There wasn’t any music playing. It’s a great environment for relaxing while you eat or studying or having a quiet conversation.

The Famous Mufeletta sandwich, no lie, tastes better than Pizza. A small shop that’s open for lunch only, but absolutely worth a try. The owner is always quite cheerful and brightens up the restaurants atmosphere all the time.

First time to F&S Deli and it won’t be my last. Ordered two Gyro combos with potato salad and everything was perfect and the Gyro was still hot when I got back to work. I can’t wait to go back and explore the other menu items.

We got our food and sat to enjoy it. It was delicious! Then came the man with two kitchen staffers and a slice of cheesecake to sing me happy Birthday!!!! Wow, I was moved. Fresh & Savory makes the absolute best BLT I’ve ever had! The bacon is cooked perfectly and so flavorful and the bread is fantastic. The owner and the staff are so lovely and very nice. I love the days when my husband goes into the office because I often get a BLT from Fresh & Savory!

What a find in Stafford for lunch. They are apx. One mile east of the Grid at West Airport at FM 1092 / Murphy Rd. Wonderful, Fresh and moderately priced. I’m definitely coming back here.

We frequently place big orders for our company lunch and every single plate is fresh and so delicious. Customer service is outstanding and very very friendly!

Talk about going above and beyond! I placed an order and the owner was amazingly accommodating. I wasn’t able to pick up my food in a timely manner and ended up being over an hour late to pick it up. The owner didn’t hesitate to re-fire my entire order and make me an entirely NEW & FRESH plate. The customer service keeps me coming back & the food is absolutely delicious!!! 10/10

Excellent restaurant the name says it all. Unique and small very owner friendly. This little gem has been around for a long while. The food is consistently good and fresh. This restaurant has a regular lunch clientele, because the food is beautiful and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a healthy menu to have several plates to choose from. Best time to go might be after the lunch crowd around 1:30pm. For desert you must try the chocolate cheese cake, it is out of this world!

My good friend recommended this spot. I had the chicken Milanese sandwich. Great choice! You could tell the ingredients were fresh. Nice toasted bun, fried to order chicken and can’t forget about the GUAC. Can’t wait to come back and try another menu item.

From the second I walked in the door the owner was AMAZING! I have never been here until today since I don’t live in the area but I work over here now! My coworkers talk about this place ALL THE TIME! So of course I had to try it. Even if the food wasn’t good I would come for the friendly service alone. Hospitality is important to me because bad service could ruin the whole experience of food. He let me try the egg salad and I loved it of course! Good place, good food, amazing service!

Found this small little shop on a google recommendation and haven’t looked back since. I go here weekly, at least 1-2 times a week. I’ve never been once disappointed with the quality or service. Everything is fresh like they picked it from the garden in the back! The Grilled Chicken Wrap is incredible. Chicken tastes amazing, vegetables are incredibly fresh and the portion size is incredibly generous for only $8. Trust me, this place is great and the wonderful people running the place will take care of your needs. They’ve been here for over 30 years, so come and support a wonderful local deli. Definitely a customer for life.

Adolfo and his team are the sweetest and most helpful caterer I have every worked with! My company was hosting a massive event and I needed to order food for staff (150+). Adolfo met all my needs and was always more than willing to answer questions or make adjustments when needed. Communication was amazing and he kept me up to date about my order on a daily basis. My staff was THRILLED with the food – espically the pickle wedges! Everything was fresh, flavorful and well packaged. I honestly look forward to working with them again and I highly recommend them for your catering needs. Today was my second time here… and both times the service and food have been great. There’s so many choices it’s so hard to decide on what to order, but I’m sure whatever you decide on you wont be disappointed…

The food is FANTASTIC. The owner is one of the nicest people EVER. During my first time at the restaurant, I didn’t know what to order, he was patient and he gave me some suggestions. If you get to go, don’t forget to tip because he does the coolest thing by ringing the bell and it’s really nice. All the staff makes the customer feel welcomed and comfortable. A 10/10 from me. Would be visiting again.

I like to go here at least once a week for lunch. Never had a bad experience. I have never had disgusting food here. Usually always get the soup no matter what day it is their tomato basil is the best I’ve ever had their shrimp posole amazing and the enchilada soup is so good they sell out of it by noon usually. highly recommend this place. Front counter guy will help you with anything you need and recommend you the best they have to offer.

This was a great lunch! My husband and I were very impressed with this small but great place. All sauces and desserts are made on premises and are So good!! The owner was so kind to us and brought us a free cheesecake because he knew we had not eaten there before. They have been there for 30 years but I had not heard of them. This is a great place to stop for lunch. The owner and staff are some of the friendliest people ever. They have been in business since 1984. That says a lot. I love that they have great vegetarian options. They also offer catering for any event. Office parties, weddings, birthdays, graduations, etc. The portions along with the prices are a great value.

Excellent deli nearby my office. My colleagues and I eat here multiple times a week and like to try everything on the menu. We have yet to be disappointed with the food. However, when I get a to-go order, my order seems to be correct 50% of the time. It’s not a big deal for me since I will eat anything, but some of my colleagues are vegan or vegetarian. It’s not a total waste since some people will pick the meat or cheese off the food, but some are strict about following their “no meat” or “no cheese” and end up forfeiting their lunch to someone else in the office. This review is more for constructive criticism. Food is great and definitely worthy of 5 stars.

You can get a reuben sandwich like any where else, or a to die for spaghetti and meat sauce. Friend and I went for lunch today for the first time. We were absolutely amazed at the high quality of their food, great service and fair prices. One of the best restaurants for lunch in the area.We shared a sandwich wrap and a lettuce wrap. We could not decide the better of the two items. Everything on the menu look wonderful. We plan to return soon, because it was just that good!

The food was unexpectedly good. My only concern was that it was hot in the building. I took my food to-go. They don’t have fountain drinks either so I bought a huge bottle of water.

It is a tiny Gem in town..it is a “luncheria” style only serve lunchs, in lunch times, on business days. But that is the key of the fresh a homemade good food.The owner has around 20 years with this style of business.

After reading the reviews I had to give this place a try. It’s a bit of a whole in the wall kinda joint with some seriously fresh and tasty food. For the price, you cant beat it. I had the grilled apple wood smoked ham with swiss and bacon on French roll. It was a good choice, the smoked ham was delicious.

So good. So many options to choose from. The food is literally fresh and savoury. So full of flavour. First time going here and will be back maybe once a week to try something new. Friendly staff also.

The place is small but good. This was my first time eating there. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the gyro was really light on the tzatziki sauce. If I could give 4.5 I would. Will be back to try more of what they have to offer.

Absolutely love getting my lunch here while at work. The food is great, Service is usually quick. At unbeatable prices, for something that is not fast-food. Only wish they had more stores around houston, or where I live in Richmond, TX… Just be aware there are no restrooms on site. Can also be crowded at lunch time.
